Best Ways to Cast and Play Audible on Google Home and Alexa

Method 1: Via Bluetooth
Here’s how you can play Audible books on your Google Home via Bluetooth:
- Turn on power on the Google Home speaker and enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.

Follow the steps to play Audible books on your PC:
- If you don’t, you won’t be able to connect your PC to the same Wi-Fi network as your Google Home.
- If you haven’t already, go to the Audible website on the web browser, and sign in.
- Now, after you select the audiobook or podcast of your choice, you just click Play.
- Tapping the Cast option from the right side of the screen.
- Then you’ll see a pop-up window where you select your speaker from the list of available devices.
Method 4: Via Kindle
If you have a Kindle and want to cast and play audible books on Google Home, here is a how-to-do-it:
- There are two steps to setting it up: power on the Kindle device and connect to the same network as your Google Home shall you have one.
- In the Kindle home screen, click on My Library, and then All.
- Choose your book to read and listen to.
The book will start downloading if you haven’t downloaded it before.
- Once you have your Google Home speaker, open the Google Home app, tap the + Add device, and then follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Google Home speaker.

Audible isn’t, technically speaking, on the supported apps list for the Chromecast. However, you can still cast it to Chromecast TV by following these steps:
- Next, connect your iPhone and Chromecast to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Tap Cast my audio while inside the Google Home app, then tap Cast Audio > Start.
- On your iPhone, open up Open Audible, tap, and select the audiobook you want to cast.

- First, to wake Google Assistant up speak Hey Google, or OK Google.

- Pause or stop: Temporarily stop playback by saying Pause or Stop.
