No flood of game invites & no unwanted interruptions. Thankfully, you can manually signal to others as offline on Roblox that even if you’re not, and that’s something we’re going to show you how to do while playing from a mobile device, PC, iPhone, iPad, and Xbox. How to make Roblox think you’re offline.
Roblox displays players as appearing offline, which is an easy way for players to filter other players by their play restrictions or by making themselves invisible. Previously, the platform gave a Status option where one could just write a short message informing people what they’re up to or about a new game or something along those lines. The same has already been removed now, so you can no longer manually set yourself to be Offline. Don’t worry though. You can imitate the same with Roblox Privacy settings.
Option 1: Modify Roblox Privacy in PC
Follow the steps below:
- If you haven’t already, visit the Roblox page and log in.
- Start by clicking on the gear (Settings) icon on the top right corner, and choose from the drop-down menu Settings.
- On the left panel, click on Privacy.
- From the Communication drop-down menu, expand and select it.
- Set the following options to No one:
- Who can message me?
- Who can chat with me in the app?
- Who can chat with me?
- Scroll down to the Other Settings section and set the following to No one:
- Who can add me to their private server?
- Can I have some company with my experiences?
- Who can see my inventory?
Option 2: Change Roblox Privacy Settings on Android or iPhone
Follow the steps mentioned below to appear offline on Roblox:
- With your Roblox app open and the three dots displayed at the bottom right side of the app, tap.
- You’ll want to scroll down and tap on Settings, then tap on Privacy.
- Under the Communication drop-down, select Off and expand the drop-down.
- Now choose No one for the following options:
- Who can message me?
- Who can chat with me in the app?
- Who can chat with me?
- Scroll down and under Other Settings, set these options to No one:
- What can someone do to make me a member of their private server?
- When can we join each other in experiences?
- Who can see my inventory?
Option 3: Now appear Offline on Roblox on Xbox.
Follow the steps mentioned below on your Xbox:
- To go to the home page, you press the Xbox button on the controller.
- Locate the Profile tab and the System tab and click your Xbox profile.
- Click expand of the Appear online drop-down menu and click Appear offline from it.
Create an Account on Roblox as an alternate.
Aside from privacy settings, you can even make another Roblox account without your friends on it. Anytime that you want to play solo you can switch to this account.
- Head on over to the Roblox website and click on the gear (Settings) icon at the top right.
- Click on + Add Account while selecting Switch Accounts from the menu.
- I open the page, Click on Create A New Account, enter all the details, and click on Sign Up.
Now you can log in and switch on and off from any account as you prefer.
Can I make an extension to show on Roblox that I am offline
