If you use Facebook Messenger a lot, there’s a chance you’ve accidentally erased an important message from a friend or family member. It can be very frustrating to lose a conversation by accident or while cleaning out your inbox. Thankfully, Facebook retains messages for up to 90 days, so you can often restore them, depending on the device you use to access the account. Using Facebook through your browser is the best way to access your message history.
Enter your login information to open your Facebook account. Click the downward arrow near the top-right and select Settings under Settings & Privacy. Pick Your Facebook Information. Pick the dates you’d like, the format for your result and the quality of video. Hit the Request a download button. After preparing your data, you’ll be informed that it’s ready to use. How to Recover Deleted Messages on Your Android
You can find your messages on Messenger by either exploring the app or using the File Explorer on your phone. Utilising Messenger functions enables you to manage your business on the go through your phone. Open Messenger. Visit your profile and then click on Archived Chats. Look for the chat you want to continue. Hold down the chat and, from the menu, choose ‘Unarchive’. You can access your downloads by opening File Explorer. Open File Explorer on your device. From the home screen of your device, choose SD Card > Android > Data > Cache. You should find a folder called fb_tempfile. This feature allows you to view previously cached messages from Messenger. Download the app and click Archived Chats. Press and hold the conversation to open the menu. Tap Unarchive. Jump to Facebook’s App: Start the app and go to Settings, then Account Settings, ending with General. Click on Download a copy of your Facebook data. If you get a message to sign in again, enter your details as usual. Click on Download Archive. After finishing the download, remove the file’s zip and open Index.html to view your messages. Recover Messages You Deleted from iPad. Because iPads run on iOS, using the camera works similarly to using it on an iPhone. From the Messenger menu, unarchive your chats by tapping the one you see in the Archived Chats list. If you’d prefer, you can also use the Facebook app to manage and download your archived data.
