How to Find Songs by Singing on TikTok
Now even if you remember the tunes or a simple lyric, you can look them up online on TikTok. Using just a few taps, we can search for songs by humming those we remember. Find out how by keeping reading until the end.
- Go to the home icon at the bottom left corner of Open TikTok.
- On the top ribbon, tap on the search bar.
- Go to Sound Search by tapping on the microphone icon.

What’s going on with the TikTok sound search?
Sound Search is currently available to a few users in a set of regions, and is not yet generally available to everyone, as the feature is still experimental; we’re looking for people’s feedback to continue to build out the feature. However, at the moment, this is not because the TikTok Sound Search is still in development and lacks a high capability of recognition, unlike Shazam.
