Kafeel Episode 22
This episode is concerned with emotional instability, financial difficulties, and failed relations in two families that are related to each other. Zeba is rattled when she suddenly encounters a former person in her life and even goes on to divorce her husband this time not to come back. Meanwhile, Saif also loses his job but conceals it to his pregnant wife Warda to avoid subjecting her to stress and secretly accepts a mean night warehouse job to cover the costs. Warda, who is upset that he heeded not to inform her of the truth is concerned about their future and thinks of going to her mother to stay with her. On a different platform, marriage proposals come in Javeria way but the doubt of divorce of Zeba inspires fear of rejection and stigma. The climax is when Subuk addresses her deadbeat father, accusing him of betrayal, financial fraud and emotional distance and it is obvious that the family is no longer afraid of his threats. The episode brings out the theme of sacrifice, pride, financial stress, and divorce stigma, as well as, the emotional price of shattered trust.
